Hello, my name is Emily. I am very excited to be a part of EDS Wisconsin, Inc. Within the organization I am an Event Planner, Executive Assistant, and Patient Advocate where I help connect those in need (with a specialty in Dysautonomia, young adults and college students).
I reside in Northcentral Wisconsin and am in senior standing at the University of Wisconsin-Superior online, where I am studying a program which encompasses nursing, kinesiology, and communication courses. I know first-hand what it is like to have Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos, Dysautonomia, and other rare & complex medical conditions. I have also attended numerous medical/nursing conferences and earned multiple CME & CNE credits.
I enjoy listening to music, watching medical/police dramas and documentaries, doing DIY projects, hanging out with friends and family, traveling the world, and hanging out at the lake.
I look forward to helping those navigate and learn more about Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and other comorbid conditions through helping EDS Wisconsin achieve their vision of “a better Wisconsin where EDS and related conditions are fully understood, treated and supported.”
